Preview: Straight Up Steve Austin

Straight Up Steve Austin

Tomorrow night following Monday Night Raw, Stone Cold returns to television in a whole new way. At 11 pm EST on the USA Network, Straight Up Steve Austin debuts and is sure to be one hell of a show. The show looks to be an interview type much like any late-night show here in the states, but with a complete Stone Cold twist. As Stone Cold says in the promo, it’s “Less Talk, More Show”.

Stone Cold with a new guest every week will do different events, Steve Austin style while discussing each other’s careers and just having some good ole conversation. From riding ATVs through the outdoors to hunting, shooting, and driving huge vehicles having a good time. Having famous people from every route of entertainment do Steve Austin activities in different cities screams excitement and great television.

His first episode is going to be with current actor and retired United States Marine Corps Reserve officer, Rob Riggle. Riggle has been in popular films like 21 Jump Street, Step Brothers, and The Hangover. They look like they’ll be heading out into the field and driving a tank, crushing broken down vehicles and discussing Riggle’s time on duty.

From Austin’s past shows like Broken Skull Challenge and being the host/trainer of Tough Enough, we know what to be in store for. In recent interviews and podcasts, Steve Austin has made it clear he is looking for new experiences while having a good time. Other guests that he will be having on to talk and have a grand time doing out of this world activities is country singer Trace Adkins, comedian Gabriel Iglesias, NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr., Sal Vulcano of TruTV’s Impractical Jokers, NFL Quarterback Baker Mayfield, and reigning Raw Women’s Champion and new 2K cover star, “The Man” Becky Lynch.

Stone Cold said he loved this new opportunity in an interview with Barstool Sports’ KFC Radio and made sure to have everyone DVR and watch his new show so theirs a second season to explore new avenues. With that said, crack open a Steveweiser, sit back, and enjoy Stone Cold doing out of this world activities with his famous guests.
