#AndNEW: Kasey Wins ICW Women’s World Championship

On Saturday night, Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) returned to the Garage in Glasgow, Scotland for a special Fight Club taping where they remembered the life and career of longtime ICW mainstay, Adrian ‘Lionheart’ McCallum. During this show, Kasey would become a three-time ICW Women’s World Champion as she won the title from Kay Lee Ray in a Triple Threat Match also involving Aivil.

In her previous two reigns with the title, Kasey would last 64 days and 84 days respectively as the champion, with both reigns (and now this one as well) coming at the expense of KLR. Unlike her previous runs with the title, The Clown Princess of Carnage has The Wee Man by her side to guide her to further success as the ICW Women’s World Champion. In addition to the ICW title, Kasey is also currently the Women’s Champion in TNT Extreme Wrestling, a title she’s held since July 5th of last year.

It’s worth noting that with the loss, it’s quite possibly a sign of Kay Lee making less frequent appearances for ICW due to her contractual obligations to NXT UK. Even though ICW is an NXT UK-affiliated promotion, we’ve already seen the likes of Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang) and Viper (Piper Niven in NXT UK) miss a show or two because of their obligations. This may not be the case however, but it is something to keep in mind. for the time being.
