At the River City Wrestling (RCW) Con in Florida on Saturday, Austin Gunn – the second generation wrestler and son of WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn – announced to the crowd that he has signed to work for Ring of Honor (ROH).

The 24-year old son of the D-Generation X member has been wrestling for two years, starting in 2017 training under his father and at the Team 3D Academy, under Bully Ray and Devon Dudley. He’s appeared for the likes of MCW Pro, Ohio Valley Wrestling, New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC) and more, but is best remembered for his appearance in the Over The Budget Battle Royal at Cody Rhodes and the Young BucksAll In event last September.

But heading somewhere else to learn in his formative years – and being close to one of his trainers, Bully Ray – could be a better experience for Austin Gunn in the long run.
