#AndNEW: Ricky Knight Jr. Wins WAW World Championship

On Sunday, World Association of Wrestling (WAW), the Norfolk, England promotion owned by the legendary Knight Family, held it’s most ambitious show in their history, with a 4000+ attendance for Fightmare at Carrow Road, the home grounds for English Premier League’s Norfolk City FC. In the most anticipated match on the card, in a battle of father versus son, Ricky Knight Jr. defeated his father, Roy Knight, to become the new WAW Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion. Roy is a 5x WAW World Champion, and Ricky Jr. (also known as RKJ) now joins other family members in uncle Zak Knight and grandfather Ricky Knight in the history books as WAW World Champion.

Earlier this year, RKJ captured the Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) Speed King title in a 12-man tournament.
