Smash Wrestling to Crown First Smash Women’s Champion at The Summit

Smash Wrestling

Toronto’s Smash Wrestling has emerged as arguably Canada’s premier indie promotion since it debuted in 2012. It took two years until they crowned their first Smash Heavyweight Champion in Matt Cross in 2014, that has since seen the likes of Alex Shelley, Johnny Gargano, Mark Haskins, Tyson Dux and reigning champion Tarik hold it over the years. Early last year, they crowned the first Smash Tag Team Champions in the Well Oiled Machines (Pepper Parks & Mike Rollins) and this year, Smash is set to unveil their first ever Smash Women’s Champion, to be crowned at The Summit, the co-promotion with SHIMMER, RISE and Quebec’s Femme Fatales over SummerSlam weekend in Toronto on Saturday, August 10.
