SPOILER: Indie Star Makes Knockouts Debut, Two Returns at First Night of IMPACT Tapings

Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion

IMPACT Wrestling is back in Las Vegas at Sam’s Town Casino for another stretch of TV tapings, and a couple of notes out of the tapings in regards to new and returning faces to the company. This post will not spoil any storyline or match results from the tapings themselves.

DELILAH DOOM

Delilah Doom made her IMPACT debut on Friday working a couple of matches. Delilah Doom started out in the Texas indies in 2014, working for Inspire Pro Wrestling, Metroplex Wrestling and Anarchy Championship Wrestling, before breaking out on a more national level in 2017. She has since gone on to become a regular with SHIMMER, RISE, and Bar Wrestling, as well as other national US indies like All-American Wrestling (AAW), PCW ULTRA, WrestleCircus, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) and much more. A regular tag team partner with Eli Everfly in Doomfly, she’s also a former Phoenix of RISE Champion and held the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship for 344 days alongside Leva Bates in the Totally Tubular Tag Team. She’s also worked the WWE on two occasions in an enhancement role – in 2016 on Raw (as Rachel Levy) against Nia Jax, and then again in 2017 on SmackDown (as Delilah Dawson) against Carmella.

RENO SCUM

Reno Scum, the duo of Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend, made their IMPACT return on Friday night in what may be setting up a new angle for a return to the company. The West Coast veterans have been working the West Coast for over a decade, working for All Pro Wrestling (APW), Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW), Championship Wrestling From Hollywood (CWFH) and PCW ULTRA. They worked briefly for Jeff Jarrett‘s Global Force Wrestling and in 2017, when Anthem took over IMPACT Wrestling, they began working for IMPACT, although they only worked one set of TV tapings in the spring. They returned for an appearance at one of a special IMPACT and Big Time Wrestling co-production last spring, but their appearance at the TV tapings were for stand-alone IMPACT television. Reno Scum are the reigning 3x APW Tag Team Champions, as well as 4x FSW Tag Team Champions, as well as the reigning UWN Tag Team Champs in CWFH.

DAGA

Mexican star Daga, who competes for The Crash Lucha in Mexico (and used to be a regular with AAA) as well as Bar Wrestling, Major League Wrestling (MLW), Lucha Underground and more in the US, is also at the tapings and competed in a dark match to open the Saturday tapings. Daga appeared on the first IMPACT of February this year from the Mexico tapings, teaming with LAX against The Lucha Brothers and Taurus. It appears IMPACT is interested in working with Daga beyond just the Mexico taping schedules.
