Marko Stunt Breaks Leg at LA Confidential, Surgery Today

Marko Stunt

One of the 2018 break out stars of the year is 22-year old Marko Stunt, who exploded onto the national scene following a viral moment from Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)‘s Joey Janela’s Lost in New York this past summer. Since then, Stunt has gone on to work All In, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) Battle of Los Angeles 2018, and work with a multitude of promotions outside his normal Southern circuit, including Beyond Wrestling, Bar Wrestling, Black Label Pro, and making his TV debut with Major League Wrestling (MLW).

Last night at GCW’s Joey Janela’s LA Confidential, he was involved in a singles match against another small high flyer in Eli Everfly. Originally slated to face DJ Z, Stunt’s opponent was moved to face Great Sasuke after Sasuke’s original opponent, Amazing Red was grounded in New York due to airport issues. Everfly and Stunt were a day removed from teaming together (alongside Delilah Doom) at Bar Wrestling, and the prospect of two of the indie’s best young stars was exciting.

During a spot where the action had gone to the crowd, a misjudged Canadian Destroyer off the apron onto the floor left Stunt on the ground and the match was soon stopped. Stunt was helped to the back, clearly injured and favoring his leg. Marko revealed he did in fact break his leg and would require surgery, which he had to have this morning.

With his star being temporarily grounded, lots of support began to flood in to help out Marko Stunt while he’s out with recovery.
