Preview: SHIMMER Volumes 105-108 (10/20-10/21/18)

SHIMMER is returning to the Berwyn Eagles Club on October 20th and 21st. They will be taping Volumes 105-108 over these two days. As of this writing, 28 names have been announced as appearing. Per SHIMMER’s history, all championships will probably be defended on each show.

The current SHIMMER Champion is Nicole Savoy, who won the belt at Volume 99 from Mercedes Martinez. The Totally Tubular Tag Team (T4) of Leva Bates and Delilah Doom are the SHIMMER Tag Team Champions. They won the titles at Volume 97 from Mount Tessa (Tessa Blanchard & Vanessa Kraven). Rounding out the championship tier is DUST. She is the current Heart of SHIMMER champion, having just won it at Volume 104 from Shazza McKenzie. A rematch of some description is almost a sure bet.

There are also several notable debuts over this weekend. One half of the Shine Tag Team Champions, Holidead, is making her debut. PROGRESS Women’s Champion, NXT UK and 2018 Mae Young Classic competitor Jinny is also debuting. The final announced debut is CHIKARA‘s Ashley Vox. Poseidon’s Siren is a four-year veteran and has worked for promotions like RiSE, Queens of Combat, PROGRESS, and Ring of Honor. Also making special single appearances are Tessa Blanchard and Karen Q. Karen will be appearing on Saturday, October 20th only. Current Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Tessa Blanchard will be appearing on Sunday, October 21st only. All other announced talent will be appearing on both days.

SHIMMER mainstays Mercedes Martinez, LuFisto, Cheerleader Melissa and Solo Darling are also scheduled to appear. Kimber Lee, who returned at SHIMMER 100, will be there as well. More regulars such as the Killer Death Machines (Jessicka Havok and Neveah), Marti Belle, Veda Scott, and Shotzi Blackheart are also going to be part of the action. Newer sensations on the women’s wrestling scene such as Dynamite DiDi, Britt Baker and Kiera Hogan are also becoming SHIMMER regulars. Other recent additions to the roster like Hyan, Samantha Heights, Willow Nightingale, and Sierra will also be involved in the shows.

If you are able to get to the Berwyn area, very limited amounts of tickets still available. If you can’t make it, SHIMMER’s new streaming service, will have you covered. For $9.99 a month, you can access SHIMMER’s catalog of previous events and future events will be added. DVDs and Blu-Rays will also be available just like all of SHIMMER’s events.
