IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho, who has not appeared at a New Japan event since defeating Tetsuya Naito for the title at NJPW Dominion this past June. Jericho was disguised as one of EVIL‘s dark druids who accompany him to the ring, and sneak attacked the Los Ingobernables de Japon member before his match against Zack Sabre Jr. even began. The match was eventually thrown out and ruled a no contest.
