The second season of WWE Mixed Match Challenge begins tonight, but much like last season, late injuries have forced a team change. This time, the injured wrestler is Alexa Bliss, who suffered a legitimate arm injury this past Sunday at Hell In A Cell in her loss to Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. That means that last season’s popular duo of Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman won’t be able to start the tournament together. The WWE has announced that former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon will be Bliss’ replacement in tonight’s first round match up.

Tonight’s debut episode will feature two matches. One will feature the RAW tandem of Braun Strowman & Ember Moon versus the Canadian duo of Kevin Owens & Natalya. The second match will feature WWE Champion AJ Styles & Charlotte Flair face the married couple of Jimmy Uso & Naomi.

Reports have stated that should Ember and Strowman advance tonight, and Alexa Bliss is cleared in the next week or so, that she will rejoin Strowman, much like Charlotte Flair did last season when Becky Lynch had to sub in her for her in one match.
Mixed Match Challenge Season 2 airs tonight at 10pm following Smackdown Live, on WWE’s Facebook Watch.
