NXT UK is holding a set of tapings this weekend in Birmingham and today on Twitter they announced their intentions to crown their first ever women’s champion.

- Toni Storm
- Rhea Ripley
- Isla Dawn
- Jinny
- Xia Brookside
- Dakota Kai
- Nina Samuels
- Millie McKenzie
Some crossover with the Mae Young Classic as we have a strong lineup, even stronger if Tegan Nox was available, of 8 women.
Who’s Likely to win?
NXT UK is a division anchored by two women Toni Storm and Jinny. Women like McKenzie, Brookside, and Rhipley are too young and lack the necessary experience. There is potential though, for Dakota Kai to go far as she has been performing on the big stage of NXT for some time. In the end, though the likely winner will be either the current PROGRESS Women’s Champion Jinny or the former and first-ever PROGRESS Women’s Champion Toni Storm. An argument could be made for either woman as Jinny oozes star power and charisma while also being a natural heel that you can build the division around. Storm is the cool babyface that can produce great matches and has won titles around the world from PROGRESS to Stardom and many places in between.
