Ring of Honor Responds to Taeler Hendrix-Jay Lethal Situation

The internet was a-buzz on Wednesday when former Ring of Honor talent Taeler Hendrix announced on Twitter that her ROH career was “sabotaged” because she refused the advances of Jay Lethal. The story was compounded on Thursday when the Generating Heat podcast reported having evidence from a second accuser.

Last night, Ring of Honor issued a statement to PWTorch in regards to the situation, marking the first time either Jay Lethal or ROH, the company he currently wears the World Championship for, has responded to the situation.

We were troubled to hear the allegations that surfaced last night on Twitter. We take these matters very seriously and will be investigating this situation thoroughly, reviewing all evidence related to the matter. Ring of Honor strives to provide an environment and workplace where male and female wrestlers are free from any misconduct or abuse. We will take appropriate action upon the conclusion of our findings.

Ring of Honor had no option but to respond, as Hendrix’ story is picking up steam throughout Social Media. The timing couldn’t be worse, as Jay Lethal just won the ROH World Championship this past weekend for the second time.

Last Word on Pro Wrestling will continue to follow the story as more details emerge.
