New Hart Foundation Debuting with MLW

Real life cousins Smith Jr and Hart have wrestled off and on together since they were small children, growing up as a part of real life Hart Family. Back in 1996, both took part in an opening bout at a WWF House Show in Calgary, when Hart was 16 and Smith was only 11. In 2007, Smith and Hart were packaged as The New Generation Hart Foundation in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW, then a WWE developmental) and were set to debut on the WWE main roster, but Hart was released shortly before, and Smith was repackaged with Tyson Kidd and Natalya as The Hart Legacy instead.

Brian Pillman Jr. is the real life son of former Hart Foundation member Brian Pillman, who entered the pro wrestling business last year. He trained with Lance Storm in Calgary, and then Sami Callihan in his native Ohio, and has continued to impress with every indie appearance, and in July he’ll be joining the next generation Hart Foundation as well.
