Ricochet Pulls Off Spider-Man Somersault, Breaks Internet (VIDEO)

Last night, former indie star Donovan Dijak had his NXT television debuted thwarted by Ricochet, and not because he lost to the new NXT sensation. Following the match, Ricochet’s current nemesis, Velveteen Dream, came down the ring to taunt his opponent for NXT Takeover: Chicago by telling Ricochet that “anything you can do, I can do better.” After repeated taunts of the same line, Ricochet launched into a somersault over the top ropes, landing in front of Velveteen Dream and responded simply “Then show me.” (The move is set up around 1:55 in the video below).

The resulting move of bravado immediately set the WWE Universe and global fans a-fire on Social Media, including comments from many of his peers around the world.

Interestingly, following the match, Velveteen Dream changed his Twitter profile to a photo of Ricochet under the Prince Puma match from his time with Lucha Underground and tweeted the following:
