Chelsea Green and Janelope Are ALL IN

\The weekly talent announcements for the upcoming September 1, 2018 indie SuperShow ALL IN, produced by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, continued today with the announcement of three more indie stars to the card: former Impact Knockouts Champion Chelsea Green (aka Laurel Van Ness) as well as intergender tag team Janelope, featuring Joey Janela and Penelope Ford.

Chelsea Green and Janelope Are ALL IN

Chelsea Green has been angling for a spot on the card for a while now, and really turned it up this week on Twitter, inquiring if the venue served alcohol. She even tried to get shirts made to get her booked on the event, and tried to get #BookedBeforeFlip trending waiting for the announcement (playing off the angle that Flip Gordon is desperately trying to work his way onto the card). The former Impact Knockouts Champion has become one of the most in-demand indie stars on the circuit, working matches under both personas, either Chelsea Green or “The Hot Mess” Laurel Van Ness.

Chelsea Green adds more women’s depth to the card, which has already announced that new Impact Knockout Tessa Blanchard and Ring of Honor’s Deonna Purrazzo are ALL IN.

Janelope is the intergender tag team featuring indie superstar Joey Janela and Penelope Ford, that many are calling the heir apparent to the World’s Cutest Tag Team (Joey Ryan & Candice LeRae). Originally rivals in CZW several years ago, the two first teamed up in a multi-person tag match at a CZW/WSU event in November of 2015. They officially teamed up as a tag team the following year at H20 Wrestling Christmas Classic, where they defeated the team of Maria Manic & Jimmy Lloyd. The team, now called Janelope, became regulars with Beyond in 2017 – even defeating World’s Cutest Tag Team at Beyond Caffeine in April of last year – and are exploding into 2018, with matches in CHIKARA, Bar Wrestling and Women’s Wrestling Revolution (WWR).
