Preview: PROGRESS Chapter 58: Live Your Best Life (11/26/2017)

PROGRESS are back in the ballroom after running a fantastic show in Manchester last time out and I am here to offer some predictions as I preview another loaded Chapter show as PROGRESS look to end their hot 2017 on a high with PROGRESS Chapter 58.

PROGRESS Chapter 58: Live Your Best Life

Match 1: Eddie Dennis vs Jack Sexsmith

Photo: PROGRESS

Dennis interfered in the main event of the last chapter show attacking both his former FSU tag partner Mark Andrews and PROGRESS World Champion Travis Banks.  In doing so he has staked his claim for a title shot and a win over Sexsmith will no doubt help his case.    The perennial underdog Sexsmith will fight against the giant Dennis and prove a tough obstacle to overcome for “The Pride Of Wales”.  But ultimately Dennis should have enough to defeat the “pansexual phenomenon”

Prediction: Eddie Dennis to win

Match 2: Jimmy Havoc & Mark Haskins W/Vicky Haskins Vs Connor Mills & Maverick Mayhew

Photo: OTT

Havoc and Haskins showed in their tag debut at te last chapter that they are a force to be reckoned with they decimated their opponents.  Brutally beating down Jack Sexsmith and then taping Matt Riddle to the post so they could get the win.  They are talented, ruthless and not afraid to do what it takes to win.  Mills and Mayhew recently took on Never Say Die in a tag match that earned both teams acclaim from everyone who watched the match.  Mills has shown before in PROGRESS that he wont go down without a fight.  His partner Mayhew will be up for it aswell as he showcases his aerial offense and his fighting spirit that is earning comparisons to Will Ospreay.  While the youngsters will try and give the veterans a fight this will be an easy win for HHH.

Prediction: Jimmy Havoc and Mark Haskins to win

Match 3: Timothy Thatcher vs Strangler Davis

Photo: PROGRESS

Davis put his ATLAS title shot on the line here.  Thatcher is coming off a defeat to CCK and needs the win here.  Davis hasn’t been very impressive with Thatcher winning their last match decisively and almost leading Davis through the match.  I think Thatcher wins here to set up another clash with fellow Ringkampf member WALTER.

Prediction: Timothy Thatcher to win

Match 4: Joseph Conners vs Flash Morgan Webster

Photo: PROGRESS

Connors makes his singles debut for PROGRESS, he has made an impression on the fans by twice attacking British Strong Style.  Webster comes in after a resilient showing against Keith Lee where even in defeat he showed once again the star potential he has for the future.  Expect some interference from the Grizzled Young Vets and Conners needs to build some steam as he builds to a match with WWE UK champion Pete Dunne.

Prediction: Joseph Conners to win

Match 5: Dahlia Black vs Jinny

Photo: PROGRESS

These two women have been at each others throats since PROGRESS: New York where Jinny attacked Black’s recently repaired ankle. In a number one contender match Black defeated Jinny.  Jinny made it personal attacking Black after her losing effort against Toni Storm.  The tension has been brewing between these tow since both returned to PROGRESS a few months ago and it all came to a head at the last show when these tow cost each other in a four way match by brawling all around the arena.  This No DQ match will see both women fight it out and unleash their rage and hatred on each other.

Prediction: Dahlia Black to win

Match 6PROGRESS Womens Championship Match: Toni Storm (c) vs Alex Windsor

Photo: PROGRESS

Storm faces the talented Windsor as she looks to continue her run as the inaugural champion.  Storm has taken on all challengers and put on great matches.  Windsor won the four way number one contenders match at the last chapter as she earned her spot and hopefully becomes a more familiar face in PROGRESS.  I expect Storm to continue her reign as they continue to build the division around her.

Prediction: Toni Storm to win and retain

Main Event: PROGRESS World Championship Match: (C) Travis Banks vs Matt Riddle

Photo: PROGRESS

Banks continues to avenge his defeats in the lead up to his title win here.  After beating Keith Lee and Mark Andrews he comes into this with a head of steam.  Matt Riddle is a former 2 time ATLAS champion who has name value here in PROGRESS.  This will be a very physical match with a lot of kicks and hard strikes.  A win for Banks will solidify his place as the man to beat here in PROGRESS and I think he will have enough to overcome the “Superking of Bro’s” here.

Prediction: Travis Banks to win and retain.

Another good looking show from PROGRESS here as we continue to see storylines develop up and down the card.
