Sami Callihan Appears On Impact Wrestling

During tonight’s new episode of Impact Wrestling, a vignette aired featuring Impact World Tag Team Champions OvE (Ohio Vs Everybody), Dave and Jake Crist, discussing their recent problems with LAX. LAX kept saying they were family, so the Crist brothers stated that maybe it was time they brought in family. In the last seconds, a tattooed arm entered the shot and gave a thumbs down. Many recognized the famous tattoo, belonging to indie superstar Sami Callihan.

Sami Callihan has a long history with the Crist brothers, as they three are part of the indie faction OI4K (Ohio Is For Killers). Sami Callihan would be able to appear on Impact Wrestling as Sami Callihan, as his Lucha Underground contract allows him to appear on Impact just not as his Lucha Underground character (which is Jeremiah Crane). Building a rival gang to face LAX could offer some great stories, especially with Callihan joining the fray.

Sami Callihan is an 11-year indie veteran who was one of the top prospects brought into NXT in 2012, following impressive runs in CZW, Dragon Gate USA, PWG, EVOLVE, and Ring of Honor, amongst others. He was renamed Solomon Crowe, but after nearly three years of being shuffled around and repackaged multiple times, he was granted his release back to the indies, and he hasn’t looked back since. A 2x AAW Heavyweight Champion, owner of The Wrestling Revolver, creative for CZW, and one of the hardest working soldiers on the indie circuit – since his return, he’s competed everywhere from Lucha Underground to Smash Wrestling, PROGRESS to WrestleCircus, OTT to wXW, and many, many more.

With Impact’s Bound For Glory coming on November 5, don’t be surprised if we see Sami Callihan interfere on behalf of the tag team champions and bring a sadistic helping hand in their battles against LAX.
