It’s finally here! After 15 wild weeks, only two teams per league are left fighting for the ultimate prize: the fantasy football championship. Whether you’re trying to win it all or merely going for the consolation bracket, you’ll probably need to pick up a player or two on the waiver wire. Heading into Week 16, Robby Anderson and Mike Williams are two of the top Week 16 wide receiver waiver pickups.

Fantasy Football: Robby Anderson, Mike Williams Highlight Week 16 Wide Receiver Waiver Claims
Robby Anderson
New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has always been a talented player, but 2018 has been a tough season for him. Best utilized as a deep threat, the third-year receiver has struggled with an inexperienced Sam Darnold and an aged Josh McCown at quarterback. However, Anderson’s luck is finally turning around at the most important part of the fantasy season.
Playing with a now-healthy Sam Darnold, Anderson has started putting together the best games of his season. Facing off against the Houston Texans, Anderson hauled in seven of his 11 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown. It helps that Quincy Enunwa isn’t there, but Anderson should produce regardless. Enunwa works the lower areas of the field, while Anderson works the deep part. Even if Enunwa returns in Week 16, both players can coexist and be fantasy-relevant on offense.
Mike Williams
We already covered why Mike Williams is a smart add for Week 16, so I won’t waste many words here. In short, Keenan Allen’s injury makes Williams the top option in the Los Angeles Chargers’ passing game, and Williams has shown he’s up for the task. He’s an amazing athlete, and Philip Rivers is more than capable of getting him the ball early and often. He should have all the opportunity to be a strong play in championship weekend.
The only reason he’s not the top option for wide receivers is that of his matchup. The Baltimore Ravens are one of the best defenses in the league and Williams won’t be in for an easy night. Still, he and Rivers are too good to be completely shut down. He might not repeat his Week 15 heroics, but he’ll still give you starting production in a pinch.
Robert Foster
If you’re looking for a safe play, look somewhere else. However, if you’re looking for a potential game-breaking star on the waiver wire, look no further than Buffalo Bills wide receiver Robert Foster. Foster is establishing himself as Josh Allen’s go-to target in the deep portion of the field, recording four catches for 108 yards and a touchdown.
This isn’t Foster’s first big game of the season. The first-year wideout has recorded at least 94 receiving yards in four of his past five games. However, the big risk with him is targets. Outside of a seven-catch Week 14, Foster has yet to record more than four receptions in a game. He’s a boom-or-bust play who has been a lot more boom than bust in recent weeks. Players like him are inherently dangerous in fantasy, but he should be your go-to if you’re looking for upside.
