If you’ve been reading these waiver wire articles, you picked up Woody Marks weeks ago. Here is in the Week 2 waiver wire article, “Marks is a bench stash until he gets more playing time, but the early signs are there.”. Also in Week 3, before his blowup game in Week 4, “worth the wait later in the season”. So hopefully, Marks is already on your bench, but if not, start there. Here are some more waiver options for your fantasy football teams ahead of Week 5.
Waiver Wire Targets Before Week 5 – Woody Marks and Friends
Malik Washington, WR, Miami Dolphins
With the gruesome injury to Tyreek Hill, Malik Washington is a priority add. They already scheme him up with designed touches, and now will have a full week to gameplan him as the WR2. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Darren Waller will be thorns in his side, and are worth an add in deeper leagues.

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
Wan’Dale Robinson is probably scooped up already, but another wide receiver injury opens up opportunities. Pass catchers normally take a small hit when playing with rookie quarterbacks, but with bye weeks and injuries piling up, Slayton may be a flex play for desperate teams in Week 5.

Isaiah Bond, WR, Cleveland Browns
After some off-the-field issues, Bond fell in the draft. But now that he’s active and playing, his role keeps growing, and he looks the part on the field. His targets have grown from one, to three, to four, up to six this past week. He’s a stash for this week against Minnesota, but don’t be surprised if he’s one of the top waiver wire additions in a couple of weeks.

Brashard Smith, RB, Kansas City Chiefs
Andy Reid said they want to get Smith more involved in the offense, and it’s easy to see why. He’s a converted wide receiver who offers more explosiveness than any running back on the roster. No one is going to start Smith this weekend, but he’s another young running back worth stashing.

Orande Gadsden, TE, Los Angeles Chargers
The underlying metrics for Gadsden are more promising than the fantasy points. His snap percentage keeps going up, and he’s running more routes than expected for a late-round tight end. Justin Herbert shouldn’t be running for his life this week like he was against New York, and Washington has been kind to the tight end position. Gadsden is a solid option for Week 5 and Week 6.

Darren Waller, TE, Miami Dolphins
He’s not going to score twice every week, but the Dolphins are in need of some serious firepower. He gets a great matchup this week against the Carolina Panthers and is firmly on the streaming radar for fantasy football.

Tommy Tremble, TE, Carolina Panthers
This game is a very stoppable force against a completely mobile object. But it gives us two of the best tight end streaming options for the week. Ja’Tavion Sanders is still dealing with an injury, so Tremble should continue his high snap percentage and fantasy opportunities.
