Odell Beckham Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook After Exciting Giants Reunion

Odell Beckham Jr. has not played in the NFL since 2024 with the Dolphins, but the New York Giants brought him back to New York by signing him to a one-year deal. This is also a reunion with new head coach John Harbaugh, whom he played for in 2023 with the Ravens. Does the 33-year-old OBJ have anything left in the tank? What is the Odell Beckham Jr fantasy football outlook?

Odell Beckham Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook After Exciting Giants Reunion

Historical Production

Beckham put the world on notice with his famous three-finger catch on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys in his rookie season in 2014. His rookie season was the first of three straight top-ten fantasy finishes for OBJ. Those first three seasons were the best three seasons of his career, as he never had another top ten finish to his name.

He battled injuries in 2017 and 2018 with the Giants, still finishing as the WR15 in 2018. He went to the Browns in 2019 and finished as the WR25. That 2019 season was the last time that he was relevant in fantasy football, never finishing in the top 50 of wide receivers again.

He did win a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, and might have been the Super Bowl MVP if he had not torn his ACL in that game. He played fourteen games with Baltimore in 2023 and nine games with Miami in 2024 and has not played since Week 14 in 2024.

New York Giants Depth Chart and Target Competition

The Giants had a busy day, signing JuJu Smith-Schuster and Braxton Berrios in addition to OBJ. Gunner Olszewski suffered a season-ending injury, so the Giants brought in a ton of veteran depth. Superstar and fellow LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers could be on the PUP list to start the season, so the Giants needed depth. New York also brought in Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin III, and Malachi Fields (NFL Draft) during the offseason. Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt, and Isaiah Hodgins are returning to the team as well. There are a lot of guys in this wide receiving room, but except for Nabers, none of them are all that good.

Beckham Dynasty Price

According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, OBJ is the WR250, which basically means he is a free agent. He is the number one trending player on Sleeper in terms of additions, which is to be expected. If you want him in deep dynasty leagues, you are going to have to pick him right away to beat the rush. Odell Beckham Jr had almost no fantasy football value before being signed.

What Is the Odell Beckham Jr? Fantasy Football Outlook?

Beckham Jr is 33 years old and has not played football in almost two years. He will have almost no value in fantasy football and dynasty leagues in 2026. His best days are long gone. However, that does not mean he will not have any good weeks. If he can establish a red zone connection with Jaxson Dart and be a touchdown machine, he can have some boom-or-bust potential.

We are going to have to see it first to believe it before Beckham has a significant role to have a high enough value in fantasy football. Beckham will be undrafted in fantasy football drafts this summer and will most likely stay on the waiver wire all season. It is unfortunate, but the Odell Beckham Jr fantasy football outlook is boom-or-bust at the best with the most likely scenario being on the waiver wire all season.
