Offensive tackle Daryl Williams has signed a three-year extension with the Buffalo Bills. Williams started 16 games at right tackle last year for the Buffalo Bills. Williams will be 29 years old in August.

The Carolina Panthers drafted Daryl Williams with the 102nd pick in the 4th round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Williams started two games that season at right tackle. He was apart of the Panthers team that fell to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl L.
He started 10 of the 13 games he appeared in the next season at right tackle, forcing veteran Mike Remmers to the left side. Williams missed three games that season with an ankle injury.
Williams had a stellar season in 2017, starting all 16 regular-season games at the right tackle spot. He ranked 83rd on Pro Football Focus’ Top 101 NFL Players of The 2017 Season List. He only allowed four sacks that year and ranked among the best right tackles in football.
Unfortunately in 2018, his season was cut short with a knee injury, only playing a few snaps in Week 1 vs the Dallas Cowboys.
The Panthers re-signed him in 2019 to a one-year deal after an ankle injury sidelined him for most of 2018. Unfortunately, Williams endured the worst season yet in his young NFL career. Due to injuries and lack of depth on the roster, he played all the positions other than center that season.
He surrendered five sacks at the left tackle spot, where he started the season. He also surrendered six sacks at the left guard (2) and right guard (4) spots. Though his sweet spot position is right tackle, Williams spent little time there, allowing only one sack in 52 snaps during his time as a reserve offensive tackle. During his benching, Dennis Daley, Greg Little, and Taylor Moton played at the tackle spots. At all combined positions, Williams allowed 12 sacks and 35 pressures.
The Buffalo Bills signed Williams to a one-year contract last season to add some more veteran depth to their offensive line. In the 16 games, he started, he only allowed 21 pressures and three sacks.
