Jonah Coleman was the 8th pick of the 4th round in the 2026 NFL Draft, where the Denver Broncos selected him as the 4th RB off the board. What is Jonah Coleman’s dynasty outlook as he joins a three-headed backfield in Denver?
Dynasty Outlook for Broncos Running Back Jonah Coleman
College Production
Coleman spent four years in college, two at Arizona and two at Washington. His best season was his junior year, having 193 carries for 1053 rushing yards and ten touchdowns. He took a step back on his carries, yards, and yards per rush attempt in 2025, but he had 15 rushing touchdowns. He caught between 23 and 31 receptions in each of his final three seasons, so he averaged about two catches a game.
Denver Broncos Landing Spot
The Broncos had a two-headed backfield with JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey last season. Dobbins only played the first ten weeks before his season-ending left foot injury. He is fully healthy entering 2026, and the Broncos re-signed him to a 2-year deal, but with an opt-out after the 2026 season. The rookie Harvey was not great in his opportunities. The fact that the Broncos re-signed Dobbins and drafted a running back in the 4th round tells you that they do not trust Harvey to be their guy.

Coleman will start the season as the RB3 on the depth chart, but it is wide open for him to take over the RB1 spot by the end of the season. Coleman has proven that he can be the goal-line back and a pass-catching one. With Dobbins being owed no money in 2027, and Coleman could be the RB1 of the future in Denver on an offense led by Sean Payton that is always one of the best run offenses in the league.
Coleman Dynasty Price
According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Coleman is the RB40. He is ranked right behind Woody Marks, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Kenneth Gainwell, while ranked ahead of Tyler Allgeier, Tony Pollard, and Rachaad White. Most of these players do not have the upside to take over the lead back on their team, while Coleman does. Expect Coleman’s rank to rise over the summer.
Coleman Dynasty Rookie Draft
In dynasty rookie drafts, Coleman will go around the turn between the 1st and the 2nd round. Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price are the only two running backs guaranteed to be drafted before Coleman. Coleman and Nicholas Singleton will be the next two running backs drafted, probably at the beginning of the 2nd round in dynasty rookie drafts.

Coleman Dynasty Outlook
Dynasty managers will have to be patient with Coleman. He will have to wait his turn on the depth chart behind Dobbins and Harvey. However, if those guys struggle and with Dobbins’ injury history, Coleman will get a chance to prove himself over the season. There is a good chance that Coleman can be the RB1 for the Broncos in 2027.
