Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is battling a concussion, but that shouldn’t keep him from seeing the field on Sunday. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the star wide receiver is “likely” to play against the Miami Dolphins. While we won’t officially know if Higgins is playing until an hour and a half before kickoff, Rapoport’s tweet suggests the star wideout will suit up, barring an unexpected setback.

The Cincinnati Bengals are having an injury-plagued season to forget, but Tee Higgins is having a good season despite his concussion. Through 12 games, the veteran has recorded 46 receptions for 667 yards and nine touchdowns on 81 targets. He’s done this despite catching passes from a not-quite-himself Joe Burrow, Jake Browning, and Joe Flacco. Despite his efforts, the team is 4-10 and already out of the playoff picture, thanks largely to its atrocious defense.
Tee Higgins originally entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Entering the league in the same draft class as Burrow, the two quickly established a strong rapport, and he became one of the league’s better perimeter threats. When paired with LSU superstar Ja’Marr Chase, the two formed the league’s best receiving duo and helped Cincinnati make the Super Bowl in 2021.
The 2025 season was Higgins’s first on a new contract. After drawn-out negotiations involving the franchise tag, the team and the wide receiver finally agreed to a four-year, $115 million extension in March. With Burrow and Chase also receiving lucrative contracts, Cincinnati has its offensive core locked up for years to come.
