1. Breece Hall
Breece Hall is in the final year of his rookie contract and recently said he wants to stay with the New York Jets. That may be true, but he ultimately doesn’t have much of a say in the matter. As the NFL’s only team still looking for its first win, the New York Jets will almost certainly sell at the deadline, as their season is effectively over. Seeing as this roster isn’t the most talented in the NFL, Hall is easily the most enticing trade candidate and should receive plenty of interest as we approach the deadline.
Running backs are dropping like flies, and teams like the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs should be among the top suitors for Hall’s services. Los Angeles lost Najee Harris earlier in the year and just placed first-round pick Omarion Hampton on the short-term injured reserve. While Hampton should return, the Chargers need a short-term workhorse and would probably prefer someone like Hall down the stretch to ease the burden on Hampton.
