Five-year NFL veteran wide receiver Marquise Brown signed a new contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Brown, a former first-round pick, spent the 2023 season with the Arizona Cardinals but has also played for the Baltimore Ravens.

Marquise Brown spent the final year of his contract catching passes from three different quarterbacks. With Kyler Murray sidelined to start the year, Brown served as the top option for journeyman quarterback Josh Dobbs and fifth-round rookie Clayton Tune. Murray eventually returned and guided the team to a few wins down the stretch. In total, Brown finished the year with 51 receptions for 574 yards and four touchdowns on 101 targets.

Brown originally entered the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Selected by the Baltimore Ravens, the Oklahoma product made an immediate impact right out of the gate. Appearing in 14 games while making 12 starts, the wideout finished his rookie season with 46 receptions for 584 yards and seven touchdowns while helping Lamar Jackson win the first MVP award of his career.

The wideout continued to grow over the next two years while establishing himself as the best wide receiver on the Ravens depth chart. In 2021, Brown recorded career-highs in receptions (91), receiving yards (1,008), and targets (146) while adding an additional six touchdowns.

Following that impressive campaign, the Ravens traded Brown to the Cardinals for a first-round pick. At first, Brown justified this selection by forming a great duo with DeAndre Hopkins. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury midway through the season and only appeared in 12 games. While on the field, the wideout recorded 67 receptions for 709 yards and three touchdowns on 107 targets.

Since signing his rookie contract, Marquise Brown has played in 72 games while making 65 starts. During his time on the field, the Oklahoma product has recorded 313 receptions for 3,644 yards and 28 touchdowns on 525 targets.
