Four-year veteran pass rusher Bryce Huff signed a new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Huff, a former undrafted free agent, spent the entirety of his professional career with the New York Jets.

After three years of solid play, Bryce Huff had a career year in the final season of his rookie contract. Appearing in all 17 games, the 25-year-old edge defender finished the season with 10 sacks, 29 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, and 21 quarterback hits. Despite his strong play, the Jets themselves suffered through another lost season after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles in Week 1.

Bryce Huff originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. Signing with the New York Jets, the Memphis product won the uphill battle to earn a Week 1 roster spot. While he spent the first few weeks of his career as a healthy scratch, he ended up playing in 14 games. While on the field, the rookie finished his inaugural season with two sacks, 16 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, and four quarterback hits.

Following his promising debut, Bryce Huff earned a starting job in the second year of his contract. While injuries limited him to just nine games, the pass rusher still managed to record two sacks, 14 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and eight quarterback hits on the season.

Huff became more of a situational player in 2022 but still managed to provide valuable play for a strong New York Jets defense. Appearing in 14 games, the Kentucky product recorded 3.5 sacks, six tackles, two tackles-for-loss, and 10 quarterback hits for his team. Huff became a restricted free agent following the season, and the Jets used the second-round tender to retain him for an additional year.

Since signing his rookie contract, Bryce Huff has appeared in 54 games. During his time on the field, the former undrafted free agent has recorded 17.5 sacks, 65 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss, and 43 quarterback hits.
