After a wild career journey, Alex Singleton found a home in 2022 with the Denver Broncos. Featured on one of the best units in the league, the Montana State product appeared in all 17 games, making 12 starts while recording a career-high 163 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, three quarterback hits, three passes defender, and one forced fumble.

Singleton originally entered the NFL as a undrafted free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft. Singing a contract with the Seattle Seahawks, Alex Singleton battled for a spot on the roster, but his bid ultimately fell short. The rookie spent the vast majority of the year out of football, making two quick pit stops on the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings practice squad.

In 2016, Singleton switched leagues and decided to play in the Canadian Football League. The linebacker spent three years with the Calgary Stampeders, earning All Star honors on two separate occasions while winning the Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award in 2017.

Following this impressive stint, the Philadelphia Eagles decided to take a shot on Singleton. While he didn’t make the Week 1 roster, he stuck around and ended up appearing in 10 games, recording five tackles while mostly working on special teams.

After getting a taste of NFL action, Singleton earned a bigger role in 2020. Appearing in 16 games while making 11 starts, the Montana State product finished the season with two sacks, 120 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, seven quarterback hits, and one interception. He proved this wasn’t a fluke in 2021, appearing in 16 games while recording one interception, 137 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, and two quarterback hits.
