The 2022 season did not go well for the Indianapolis Colts, but linebacker Bobby Okereke was one of the few bright spots on the season. Appearing in 17 games while making 16 starts, Okereke finished his season with 151 total tackles, six tackles-for-loss, five passes defended, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. The tackles, tackles-for-loss, and forced fumbles were all career highs.

Bobby Okereke originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Selected by the Indianapolis Colts, the former Stanford Cardinal made an immediate impact on the defense. Appearing in all 16 games while making eight starts, the rookie finished his inaugural season in the league with 65 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, one quarterback hit, one sack, two forced fumbles, and two passes defended.

Okereke returned to a similar role during his second season in the league. Appearing in 14 games while making eight starts, the linebacker ended the year with one interception, six passes defended, two fumble recoveries, 72 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, and one quarterback hit. The Colts made it to the playoffs for the first time in Okereke’s career, but they lost in the Wild Card Round to the Buffalo Bills.

After two solid seasons, Bobby Okereke earned a larger role during his third season in the league. Starting and appearing in 17 games, the Stanford product finished the season with two interceptions, four passes defended, one sack, 132 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and two quarterback hits.

Since signing his rookie contract, Bobby Okereke has played in 64 games while making 49 starts. While on the field, the linebacker has recorded three interceptions, 420 tackles, 15 tackles-for-loss, and four quarterback hits.
