Seattle Seahawks Easiest Games of 2020

9. Week 16: vs Los Angeles Rams

In the second meeting of the season, Seattle could find themselves victorious. Simply because this game is taking place in Seattle. Although these teams always play well against each other, home field advantage can prove beneficial. With this game being in week 16, whoever is in better playoff position will have the advantage as well. Even if that advantage comes from having more to play for.

10. Week 2: vs New England Patriots

It feels wrong to ever put the New England Patriots on an “easiest game” list. They will still be a decent team with Bill Belichick coaching. Without Tom Brady, though, who knows what this team will look like. If this game happened later in the season, it may have fallen higher up on the list. Since it is in week 2 though, the Seahawks should have an advantage, if not only because of more continuity.

11. Week 1: at Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have been similar to other teams who have had a Super Bowl hangover. After their 2017 loss to the Patriots, Atlanta underperformed. They have the talent to be a good team though, so one can never count them out. Especially this early in the season. Seattle should be able to take care of business in this one though. If the Seahawks can play similar to how they did last season, they will be the better team.

12. Week 11: vs Arizona Cardinals

As stated in the previous article, the Arizona Cardinals will be a surprisingly good team this season. Both of these teams will be playing on a short week and that is usually a recipe for sloppy games. Luckily, for Russell Wilson, those are the types of games he can excel in. If Wilson gets chances to roll out of the pocket and make something out of broken plays, Arizona will be in trouble. The Cards do, however, have a quarterback of their own who can do similar things to Wilson on the field. This division game will be tough, but Seattle is still the better team.

13. Week 13: vs New York Giants

The New York Giants have been a consistently bad team since Tom Coughlin left after the 2015 season. They have players all over the field who can make an impact though. They seem like they will be one of those teams who play well at the beginning of the season and lose gas down the stretch. This bodes well for the Seahawks. With this game being played in week 13, Seattle should be firing on all cylinders.

14. Week 14: vs New York Jets

The New York Jets and Giants are similar in their shared misery over the past couple of years. They have shown flashes of success beating decent teams in recent past. Though, when they face “gotta-have-it” games, they have not been able to show up. The Seahawks will be the better team by far, especially this late in the season. With this game being in Seattle, the 12’s should have no problem in this one.

15. Week 4: at Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins showed some flashes last year, especially by surprising everyone and beating the Patriots during the final playoff push. They still have so much uncertainty though, and they have not been consistent. Even though this game is being played in Miami, the Seahawks have the clear advantage, even if just on paper.

16. Week 15: at Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins have a chance to be one of the worst teams in the league again. Although there is some moderate hype about second year quarterback, Dwayne Haskins, I don’t think it will turn into much success. They will almost certainly be out of the playoff race by this point in the season in a challenging NFC East. Seattle should see this game as a tune up for their final two games against the Rams and the 49ers.
