Fantasy Football Week 10 Tight End Waiver Wire Claims: Noah Fant, Dallas Goedert, More

Nine weeks of NFL play are officially in the books, which means bye weeks are in full swing. Gone are the days where you could just coast by on a strong draft. Now more than ever, you’ll need to search the waiver wire for all the best available tight ends. Heading into Week 10, you should set your eyes on Noah Fant, Dallas Goedert, and Jacob Hollister.

Note that in order to make this list, the player had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. If you’re in smaller leagues, there may be better players available. Make sure to check your waivers to see if there are any diamonds in the rough before submitting your claims.

Noah Fant, Dallas Goedert Highlight Fantasy Football Week 10 Tight End Waiver Wire Claims

Noah Fant

Rookie tight ends normally don’t do much for fantasy football, but Noah Fant is set to break the mold. The first-round pick is a fantastic athlete and possesses great pass-catching prowess, and he’s starting to grow into a role in Denver’s offense. During Week 9, Fant recorded three receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown. This was easily his best game of the season, and he should have more good outings moving forward.

Fant saw a dramatic increase in opportunity ever since the Broncos traded away Emmanuel Sanders. In Week 8, Fant recorded five receptions for just 26 yards, but saw nine targets throughout the contest. Fant’s impressive speed and unwillingness to go down means that he should be a relatively reliable tight end stream for the remainder of the season.

Dallas Goedert

The Philadelphia Eagles are in a bad place right now. After losing DeSean Jackson to yet another injury, the team is stuck with one of the most underwhelming receiving groups in the league. Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor haven’t pulled their weight in the offense, and Doug Pederson will need to make some adjustments if Philadelphia is to make it back to the postseason.

The best change for Pederson to make is to incorporate more two tight end sets. Zach Ertz is obviously a special talent, but Dallas Goedert has the ability to be just as good in the passing game. Goedert should see his target share rise in the coming weeks, and the Eagles love targeting him in the red zone. If you’re still looking for a dependable tight end, make sure to pick up Goedert. In a perfect world, he could easily be a top-10 tight end for the rest of the season.

Jacob Hollister

Jacob Hollister is not a special talent, but you don’t need to be when Russell Wilson is your quarterback. Stepping in for an injured Will Dissly, the former New England Patriot made quite a few big plays for Seattle in their overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In total, Hollister finished his night with four receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns on six targets.

Jacob Hollister has a low floor, but Wilson clearly trusts him to be a part of the passing attack. So far without Dissly, Hollister has recorded at least six targets in two of his last three games. The only game he didn’t see six targets was when Seattle jumped out to a massive lead over the Atlanta Falcons. Hollister isn’t nearly as safe as Fant or Goedert, but he has a decent ceiling and can be a good high-reward add in deep leagues.
