Offseason trades are the perfect time for dynasty managers to get the missing piece for their team or to start a rebuild by capitalizing on maximum value for a player. The 2027 rookie class looks to be generational, so trying to turn one of these players into a pick in the 2027 class is a good idea. Looking at the KeepTradeCut Superflex dynasty running back rankings, a ranking system that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, here are three running backs to sell high, as they are currently overranked and are good dynasty running backs to trade away.
Dynasty Running Backs to Trade Away

De’Von Achane
The first of the dynasty running backs to trade away is the newly extended De’Von Achane of the Dolphins. According to the KeepTradeCut rankings, Achane is the RB5 in the dynasty running back rankings. Miami is in full rebuild mode, but they extended Achane to keep him on the team for the next five seasons.
Achane made his money in fantasy football due to his elite target share. Achane was second among running backs in target share last season at 19.8%. A lot of that came from dump-offs from Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa is now on the Falcons, leading to Malik Willis as the new starter in Miami. Willis is more of a run-first quarterback, so he might scramble instead of checking it down to Achane.
The Dolphins are not going to try to win this season as they have their sights set on the 2027 NFL Draft and its strong quarterback class. Running backs generally perform better in fantasy when they are on a good offense, as it leads to more time on the field and scoring opportunities. Achane is such a talented player, but he has reached his maximum value in dynasty. Now is the time to trade away Achane.

Omarion Hampton
The second of the dynasty running backs to trade away is Omarion Hampton of the Chargers, ranking sixth in the dynasty running back rankings. This is a pretty steep ranking for a guy who has nine career games under his belt. He had 124 carries for 545 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He added 32 receptions on 35 targets for 192 yards and a receiving touchdown.
The Chargers brought in Keaton Mitchell to give them some more explosiveness in the backfield, whereas Hampton is the power back. Mitchell will take some pass-catching work away from Hampton as well. Los Angeles also brought in Achane’s old head coach, Mike McDaniel, to be the new offensive coordinator. He will come up with creative ways to get Hampton the ball.
Hampton is a very talented player, but is still mostly unproven. A ranking of the sixth-best running back in dynasty fantasy football will most likely be the highest he has ever ranked. Running backs have short shelf lives, and rebuilding managers should sell Hampton when he is at his peak value.

Quinshon Judkins
The third and final of the dynasty running back trade targets is another second-year player, Quinshon Judkins, on the Browns. According to KeepTradeCut, he just cracked the top 10 in the dynasty running back rankings, coming in at number ten. In 14 games last season, he finished as the RB26. He had 230 carries for 827 yards and seven touchdowns. He added 26 receptions for 171 receiving yards.
The Browns do not have a good offense and continue to have quarterback questions. Judkins is not a pass-catching running back, averaging less than two per game last season. With the Browns scoring issues, touchdowns will be a problem for Judkins. Without many touchdowns and receptions, it is hard to put up big fantasy days.
Judkins is just 22 years old, but being stuck on the Browns offense is not good for his long-term dynasty outlook. Just like Hampton, Judkins is another player who is at his peak value, and dynasty managers should try to get the maximum value from him as possible.
