A lot of young running backs are making their rise to the top ten of the running back rankings. Here are the top 10 dynasty running back rankings entering the 2026 season.
Dynasty Running Back Rankings Top 10
10. Quinshon Judkins
Quinshon Judkins had a productive rookie season for the poor offensive team in the Cleveland Browns. He had 230 carries for 827 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. He added 26 receptions for 171 yards. Even though he had seven touchdowns, he only scored a touchdown in just four games, having three touchdowns in one game and two in another. In the 10 games where he did not score a touchdown, he only had two top 20 finishes and no finishes inside the top 15.
With only averaging two catches a game, he was not putting up top scores if he was not able to find the end zone. The Browns signed an entirely new offensive line, so hopefully the run game can improve in 2026. At just 22 years old, Judkins comes in at 10th in the dynasty running back rankings.
9. Kenneth Walker III
The Super Bowl LX MVP, Kenneth Walker III, had a fantastic postseason with the Seattle Seahawks before signing a new contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason. In Walker’s four seasons with Seattle, his best fantasy finish was the RB18 in PPR leagues. He spent three seasons splitting carries with Zach Charbonnet. Charbonnet was injured during the playoffs, and Walker showed that he could be the workhorse back.
Walker joins a Chiefs offense that is looking for a superstar running back to pair with quarterback Patrick Mahomes as he recovers from his torn ACL. Walker should have no competition for significant carries and should have plenty of opportunities to score touchdowns for the Chiefs. Even with no top 15 finishes in his career, Walker is a top 10 dynasty running back.
8. James Cook
James Cook has gotten better every season in his young career, going from the RB44 to RB12 to RB8 to the RB6 last season, topping 300 fantasy points for the first time. He led the league with 1621 rushing yards. After scoring 16 rushing touchdowns in 2024, every fantasy manager expected he would have negative regression in 2025, but he still scored 12 rushing touchdowns last season.
He signed a four-year extension to stay in Buffalo. Staying on the Buffalo Bills offense, which is one of the best in the league with Josh Allen, will allow Cook to average around double-digit rushing touchdowns every season and be a top ten running back for the next few seasons.

7. Jonathan Taylor
Jonathan Taylor had his best season in 2025 since his 2021 campaign, where he finished as the overall RB1 in fantasy football. Last season, he was the RB4 in PPR leagues and the RB2 in half-PPR leagues. He led the NFL with 323 carries, 18 rushing touchdowns, and 84 rushing first downs. He finished just 36 rushing yards behind Cook for the rushing triple crown.
With the Indianapolis Colts getting off to such a great start to begin the season, Taylor was in MVP conversations. Out of the first 10 games of the season, Taylor finished as a top 10 fantasy running back in seven weeks and was the RB1 four times, including a 49.6 point performance in Germany in Week 10. In the final seven games, he did not have any top 10 finishes. Taylor only has one more year on his deal with the Colts, and he is the oldest running back on this list at 27 years old, so there are a lot of questions surrounding his future and how much longer he can be productive.

6. Omarion Hampton
Omarion Hampton battled injuries in his rookie season, only getting into nine regular-season games. When he was healthy, he was the Los Angeles Chargers lead running back, getting at least 12 carries in eight of those nine games. Hampton was also productive in the passing game, having at least five receptions in four games. With a healthier offensive line expected in L.A. in 2026, Hampton is poised to make the sophomore leap.
5. Jeremiyah Love
The only rookie in the top 10 dynasty running back rankings comes in at number five and is the third overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Jeremiyah Love. Love was fantastic in college with Notre Dame, leading the FBS in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns for two consecutive seasons. He was also productive as a pass-catching running back.
The Arizona Cardinals have a young core of offensive weapons, including Love, Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett is holding out looking for a new contract, but this should be one of the better offenses in the league. Love will have many fantastic fantasy seasons in Arizona.

4. Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty did not live up to the full expectations in his rookie season playing for a bad Las Vegas Raiders team. He started in all 17 games, finishing as the RB11 in PPR leagues. He had seven top 15 finishes and four finishes inside the top five. Fantasy managers expected more out of Jeanty, but there is only so much he can do on a bad offense. With a new coaching staff and Fernando Mendoza coming in, expectations are once again sky high for Jeanty. They drafted Mike Washington out of Arkansas to be the lightning to Jeanty’s thunder. Jeanty is an incredible running back with the best still yet to come.
3. De’Von Achane
Coming in third in the dynasty running back rankings is Miami Dolphins superstar De’Von Achane. Miami is in full rebuild mode, but they extended Achane in the offseason to keep him on the team for the next five seasons. Achane makes his money catching passes, leading him to an RB5 finish in back-to-back seasons. Even without Tua Tagovailoa anymore, Achane should still have plenty of receptions with Malik Willis at the helm, leading to lots of fantasy production.
2. Jahmyr Gibbs
The battle for the number one and two spots in the top 10 dynasty running back rankings comes down to two 24-year-old running backs drafted in the top 12 of the 2023 NFL Draft. Jaymyr Gibbs comes in at second place with three top ten finishes to his name, including back-to-back seasons as a top-three running back.
The Detroit Lions traded away Gibbs’ partner in crime, David Montgomery, to the Houston Texans, which puts Gibbs in line to be the full workhorse back with little competition. They did sign Isiah Pacheco, but this is Gibbs’ backfield. Gibbs is in store for a couple of massive seasons in Detroit over the next half-decade.
1. Bijan Robinson
With Gibbs being number two, that leaves Bijan Robinson as the number one running back in the dynasty rankings. Like Gibbs, he has three top ten finishes in his career, and back-to-back seasons as a top three back. Robinson gets the edge over Gibbs as he has a proven large workload and insane efficiency, both on the ground and in the air.
Tyler Allegier left for the Cardinals in free agency, leading the Atlanta Falcons to sign Brian Robinson, making Atlanta’s backfield the most confusing in the league, name-wise. Brian Robinson is worse than Allegier, meaning Bijan Robinson has an even stronger hold on this backfield. Bijan Robinson has a lot left in the tank and is ranked first in the dynasty running back rankings.
