Puck Talk Live Podcast: Episode 55 – 2020-21 Trophy Predictions
On episode 55, the boys are back with another predictions episode! This time, they make their 2020-21 trophy predictions for the major individual player awards. These include the Hart, Rocket Richard, Norris, Vezina, Calder, and the Selke. All three boys agree on the winners for the Hart and Rocket Richard, although Logan makes a case for a dark horse candidate to win the Hart. The hosts are all split on their Norris winners, although two of them are from the Vegas Golden Knights. The trio come to an agreement on the Vezina winner, but Noah brings up a goaltender he thinks should be given more attention.
The Calder is once again a consensus agreement, but a dark horse defenceman from the Ottawa Senators is thrown in the mix. All three agree that Ottawa is finally on the rise, and makes games interesting in the North Division. Finally, the Selke trophy is predicted. While Patrice Bergeron is a mainstay in voting, the other two have different ideas about who should win. Logan has a candidate so unpredictable, you’ve got to listen to find out who. Tune in next week for an episode on the hot and cold teams in the NHL!
