Puck Talk Live Podcast: Episode 49 – Reverse Retro Jerseys and Top Wingers

On this episode of the Puck Talk Live podcast, Jonathan joins Noah and Raffi once again. With a very dry week in terms of signings, the boys kick off the show with the Dallas Stars signing Roope Hintz. Next, the hosts bring up the Adidas “reverse retro” jerseys. The three talk about which jerseys they are most excited to see, and what each team’s could look like, including the one for the Chicago Blackhawks. Finally, the trio discussed the NHL Network’s top 20 wingers. The boys agree this list was better than their defencemen list, talked about on last week’s show. However, they felt there was room for improvement.
Multiple players are investigated, including Patrick Kane, Mark Stone, Johnny Gaudreau, and Andrei Svechnikov. The top five caused some discussion, as each host had their own idea of the top wingers in the league. There were many players that were left off the list that the boys felt should have been included, including Kyle Connor and Taylor Hall. Who are Logan, Raffi, and Noah? Put simply, they are three high school friends who bonded over their strong love for hockey, and decided to share their thoughts with the world via podcast.
