NHL Predictions
Montreal Canadiens vs New York Islanders
Head-to-Head: Canadiens 2-0 Islanders
How to Watch: US TV: MSGSN; ESPN+. Canada TV: TSN2; RDS.
Time: 6 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
Our opening and featured game of NHL predictions has the Montreal Canadiens visiting the New York Islanders. Jacob Fowler is slated to get the start after Jakub Dobes got the call last game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Habs still have a chance to win the Atlantic Division title with two games left to go. Nick Suzuki needs one point in the final two games to reach the 100-point mark.
Ilya Sorokin is projected to get the start for the Islanders, who are fighting for their Stanley Cup Playoff lives. The Isles sit three points off the last automatic spot in the Metropolitan Division. However, the Long Islanders will need things to fall their way in order to reach the postseason. Mathew Barzal leads the team in assists (52) and points (71).
The Isles will be desperate. However, the Canadiens should finish off the Islanders.
Prediction: Canadiens win 4-2.
