Utah Mammoth vs Calgary Flames

Head-to-Head: Mammoth 1-1 Flames

How to Watch: US TV: Utah16; ESPN+. Canada TV: Sportsnet.

Time: 9 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our last game of NHL predictions has the Utah Mammoth battling the Calgary Flames. Utah is expected to give Vitek Vanecek the start in between the pipes in this one. The Mammoth have a 6-4 mark in the last 10 games but did lose to the Carolina Hurricanes last time out. Clayton Keller is the team’s leader in points with 84.

Dustin Wolf is projected to get the start for Calgary, which is just playing out the string. The Flames are 4-4-2 in their previous 10 games, including three consecutive defeats. Matthew Coronato is first on the team in assists (26) and points (43).

Utah still has plenty to play for because it wants a better opening-round matchup.

Prediction: Mammoth win 5-2.

Best Bets

We finish up NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Habs and the Isles is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.

As for individual props, take Suzuki to get that 100th point for Montreal. On the New York side of things, go with Anders Lee to score a goal.
