How to Watch: US TV: MSGSN; Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+. Canada TV: Sportsnet+.

Time: 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our second game of NHL predictions has the New Jersey Devils trying to avoid the season sweep against the Carolina Hurricanes. Jacob Markstrom is the probable starter for the Devils, who are 7-3 in their last 10 games. This includes wins in five of their last six games. Jesper Bratt is tops in assists (41) and points (60) for New Jersey.

Brandon Bussi is the likely starter for the Hurricanes, who are 6-4 in their previous 10 games. However, Carolina lost to the Montreal Canadiens last time on the ice. Sebastian Aho is tops in assists (47) and points (72) so far this campaign.

It may be too late for New Jersey, but the team is playing better. However, Carolina picks up the win.

Prediction: Hurricanes win 4-1.
