Head-to-Head: Hurricanes 0-1 Canadiens

How to Watch: US TV: Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+. Canada TV: TSN2; RDS.

Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Our second game of NHL predictions has the Carolina Hurricanes visiting the Montreal Canadiens. Brandon Bussi is the likely starter for Carolina, which has won seven of its previous 10 games. This includes three consecutive victories for the Hurricanes. Nikolaj Ehlers has six assists and seven points in his last 10 games.

Jakub Dobes is the probable starter for the Canadiens, who are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games. However, the Habs have won two of their last three games entering this important Eastern Conference matchup. Cole Caufield has been red-hot with 10 points in the last 10 games, including six goals.

This should be a good game. However, Montreal picks up the win at home.

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-3.
