NHL Predictions: March 12 Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars

Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars

Head-to-Head: Capitals 0-1 Sabres

How to Watch: US TV: Hulu; ESPN+. Canada TV: SN1; SNO.

Time: 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EST)

Our final and featured game of NHL predictions has the Edmonton Oilers trying to avoid the season sweep against the Dallas Stars. Tristan Jarry is the expected starter in goal for the Oilers, who are 4-6 in their last 10 games. However, Edmonton has won three of its last four games entering this Stanley Cup Playoff rematch. Connor McDavid has already hit the 110-point mark so far this campaign.

Jake Oettinger is the projected starter for Dallas, which is 9-0-1 in its last 10 games. The Stars have playing just as well as the Sabres in this recent stretch. Jason Robertson is tied with Wyatt Johnston for first on the team in goals with 34.

Edmonton has been playing better as of late. However, Dallas should continue its hot streak.

Prediction: Stars win 3-2.

Best Bets

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Oilers and the Stars is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.

As far as individual props, go with Leon Draisaitl to get a power-play goal in this game. On the Dallas side of things, take Miro Heiskanen to get at least a point.
