2024-25 Season Series: Jets 2-1 Oilers
How to Watch:
U.S. TV: ESPN+
Canada TV: CBC; Sportsnet
Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Our final and featured NHL prediction pits the Winnipeg Jets against the Edmonton Oilers for the first time this season. Trent Milic is expected to get the start after Eric Comrie got 35 saves in a 4-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night. Winnipeg is 4-5-1 in the previous 10 games, but did get that win over Buffalo. Mark Scheifele is first on the team in assists (21) and points (35). However, Kyle Connor is first in goals with 15.
Stuart Skinner is the probable starter for the Oilers, who are also 4-5-1 in the last 10 games. However, Edmonton did beat Seattle in its last outing. Connor McDavid is tops on the Oilers in assists (26) and points (40). Leon Draisaitl is first on the team in goals with 16.
Both teams are trying to keep the momentum going, but Edmonton gets the win at Rogers Place.
Prediction: Oilers win 4-3.
Prop Bets of the Night
We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. We’ll stay with our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Jets versus the Oilers is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.
As for individual props, go with Gabriel Vilardi to get at least a point for Winnipeg. On the Edmonton side of things, take Jack Roslovic to score an anytime goal.
