Our second game of NHL predictions has the Detroit Red Wings going for the season sweep against the Seattle Kraken. Detroit will go with John Gibson in goal for this game. The Red Wings are 4-4-2 in the last 10 games, but have lost six of their last eight games. Lucas Raymond and Dylan Larkin are tied for the team’s lead in points with 31 so far this campaign.

Joey Daccord is the likely starter for the Kraken, who are also 4-4-2 in the last 10 games. Seattle has lost five of its previous seven games entering this matchup. The Kraken suffered a 4-2 loss to the Red Wings in Detroit on November 18. Jordan Eberle, Jaden Schwartz, and Matty Beniers are each tied for the team’s lead in points with 15.

The two teams are looking to get back on track, but Detroit has more firepower.

Prediction: Red Wings win 4-2.
