Top 3 Everton Players To Select For FPL Gameweek 35

A Rejuvenated Squad: Everton Predicted Lineup for 2024/25 Season

Everton hosts Brentford at Goodison Park for FPL Gameweek 35 of the Fantasy Premier League. Last Word on Football brings you three players from the Toffees that should be in consideration for your team.

3 Everton Players to Start For FPL Gameweek 35

Jordan Pickford

England’s number one is already one of the most popular keepers in FPL with 14.4% of users currently having the former Sunderland stopper in their team. Pickford has kept 11 clean sheets this season, second most in the league behind Arsenal’s David Raya. Despite this, he is still on the cheaper end for starting goalkeepers at 4.7.

The Toffees have also kept three consecutive clean sheets at home adding to the allure of their defence for selection. Their next three games are Brentford (H), Luton (A) and Sheffield United (H). All favourable fixtures for a defensive selection.

Jarrad Branthwaite

This selection would be for many of the same reasons that Pickford is in for consideration. The next three games are all beneficial to the clean sheet bonus for defenders, combined with Everton’s impressive defensive record.

But Branthwaite has also managed to add the occasional goal this season. Currently on three goals, the Carlisle United youth product is one of the the main threats on set pieces. The team scoring 20+ goals from dead-ball situations means it is one of their main routes to get onto the scoresheet.

Currently priced at 4.3, he ranks 7th on form while being significantly cheaper than most options around him. His form is good despite a -1 score against Chelsea three games ago.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

The striker is hopeful to start the match on Saturday, looking to get over a stomach bug that stopped him from playing the full match against Liverpool on Wednesday. But despite this, he still managed to find the score sheet. That makes it three goals in four games for the former England international who looks to have regained his form.

A dry spell of 19 games without finding the back of the net meant that many have turned away from selecting the striker. Currently priced at 5.8 and with only 1.0% of teams having him selected he could be an x factor if you need a cheap alternative for attackers. With a run of games against teams lower on the table this three-game stretch could provide many chances for him to find the back of the net.
