However, they are still on the hunt for a prolific striker who could lead the line next season. Amid all the circulating rumours, Arsenal youngster Mika Biereth, who is on loan currently in the Austrian Bundesliga, has been putting in impressive performances.

Who Is Mika Biereth?
Mika Biereth is a 21-year-old Danish striker who has been a part of the Arsenal academy for the last three years. The youngster is currently on loan at Austrian side Sturm Graz and has turned heads with his performances.
After joining the club earlier this year, he has scored made four goal contributions in five matches. Fabrizio Romano reports that the Gunners have a decision to make regarding the youngster’s future and that he will need some regular game time to grow and develop.
Before his stint in Austria, Biereth was loaned to Scottish side Motherwell in 2023 where he also impressed. In 14 league appearances for the Steelman, the forward scored six goals and also contributed with 5 assists, leading manager Stuart Kettlewell to call him an “excellent” player with a “lot of quality”.
Future at North London
Romano adds that it is still early to say if the 21-year-old will be a part of Arteta’s first-team plans for next season. However, he claims that his performances on loan have not gone unnoticed.
With a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future of players like Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson, it will be interesting to see how Arsenal deal with Mika Biereth. The former Fulham academy player is capable of playing as a lone striker and also on the wing. He has also been employed as an attacking midfielder on a few occasions.
Arsenal certainly have a talented young player on their hands but whether he will break into the senior team is something only the future can tell us.
