How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
Robert Sanchez has played almost every minute of the season for the team in goals. This streak came to an end during the loss to the Toffees when he came off with an injury in the second half. The back four has been anything but settled with Levi Colwill, Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Reece James, and Thiago Silva have all featured in the defence in recent fixtures.

The defensive midfield pivot has been almost undroppable with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez being everpresent. Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling, Conor Gallagher, and Mykhailo Mudryk have started in attacking positions recently.
Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson have both featured as the striker.
Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics
Mauricio Pochettino has stuck with his 4-2-3-1 formation throughout everything and it has produced mixed results. The team has lost three of their last four matches with the only win being a nervy 3-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
While goalscoring has been less of an issue than it was to start the campaign, there is an issue with the defence becoming leaky. They have picked the ball out of the net 14 times in their past five fixtures, something which will have to change if they want to turn their form around.
Chelsea Injuries to Consider
For every bit of good news, there is bad news to counter it. While Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto were upgraded to full team training in the most recent injury report, they were replaced with three new names. Sanchez, James, and Cucurella have been added to the list of absentees.
Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu, Noni Madueke, and Romeo Lavia remain sidelined. It is noted that Lavia has taken part in partial team training but Sheffield United will likely be too early to see him come into the squad.
