Why Is Bardghji Attracting So Much Attention?
The teenager has been one of Copenhagen’s best players this season and has been producing some really impressive numbers in terms of his goal contributions. Bardghji has scored seven goals for the Danish side in their domestic league, and has shown versatility in being able to operate on the right wing or in an attacking midfield area as well.
The 18-year-old had his breakout moment of the campaign in the Champions League match against Manchester United at home, scoring a stunning winner to power his side’s 3-2 victory over the Red Devils. He has already been tipped to have a “fantastic” career in Europe and could be a nice fit into Chelsea’s philosophy of playing with a vibrant, young set of players under Mauricio Pochettino. The Blues have already brought in quality young players like Andrey Santos and Lesley Ugochukwu to improve their future core, and it remains to be seen if they make a move for an exciting, clinical winger like Bardghji in 2024.
