Eddie Howe Interested In Guirassy Transfer

It is further added that Howe has the Guinea striker on his shortlist of potential transfer options for the upcoming window. Falk also claims that Manchester United are interested in signing the 27-year-old striker, who is fighting hard with high-flying Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane for the Bundesliga Golden Boot award this season.

The most lucrative thing about someone like Guirassy is that he currently has a reported release clause of just over £15 million in his contract, meaning that the Magpies could potentially sign him for a relatively low fee to improve their number of options upfront.

Guirassy has been one of the most prolific strikers in Europe this season and had an amazing start to the 2023/24 season with Stuttgart, scoring a whopping 10 goals in his first five league games of the campaign. He has currently scored 16 goals in just 11 appearances for them, maintaining his impressive consistency to help his side compete for a top-4 place.

The 27-year-old has been hailed as “phenomenal” for his goal-scoring heroics and his amazing finishing ability in the box. He can definitely bring more goals to Newcastle and be a solid alternative to Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson, being able to add more goals to their product. With that being said, it remains to be seen if the Magpies actually make a move for him and decide to add more firepower to their frontline.
