Burnley have not had the best start in the Premier League this season. They are 18th in the table, with four points – making changes a necessity to ensure they avoid relegation. The Turf Moor club are looking at a long-term strategy to help secure their future. According to Sami Mokbel of The Daily Mail, owners ALK Capitals are “in talks” to make Dundee of Scotland a feeder team for the Clarets.

Exclusive News on Possible Talent-Share Agreement
Mokbel wrote exclusively on the details of this possible agreement. Recent weeks have seen discussions take place between the two sides. An initial agreement would see Burnley and Dundee “enter into a talent-share agreement.” Benefits for both clubs include the Clarets gaining first refusal on the Scottish side’s top players and the Scottish Premier League outfit receiving players on loan.

Young English attacker Marcel Lewis is already spending 2023/24 on loan to Dundee. Burnley have been attempting to find a feeder club and could have finally found a suitable match in Scotland. There were reports linking Burnley to FC Kortrijk in Belgium – but the possibility of them buying a stake there is seen as “premature.”
Burnley Eye Multi-Club Strategy
The Clarets are seemingly keen on the “multi-club” approach preferred by many elite clubs looking to get their youngsters match experience. Arsenal and Manchester United are two other English teams that have agreements with Scottish League teams, as Inverness Caledonian Thistle are working to develop the Gunners youngsters and Livingston with United.
Brighton & Hove Albion also have a “strategic partnership” with Hibernian FC, making a potential agreement between Burnley and Dundee a seemingly feasible proposal.
