Are Barcelona Really Considering Mitoma?
Barcelona are reportedly huge admirers of Brighton & Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma and are interested in a big-money move for him in 2024. However, Fabrizio Romano has given some clarification over these links and just stated that “at the moment” he does not know of there being any concrete interest at Barcelona for the Japan international. He adds that Mitoma is appreciated by many clubs across Europe, but that there is nothing really advanced from any side to sign him. In fact, the journalist further notes that the Seagulls are actually now making progress in convincing the winger to sign a new contract, which is expected to be agreed very soon.
Are Barcelona Planning Anything for January Transfer Window?
The La Liga heavyweights were forced to sign players on loan in the summer transfer windows, bringing in the likes of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo to bolster their squad. However, they might be looking to add a bit more firepower to their attacking force and could be eyeing the January transfer window for the same.
However, Barcelona are likely to prioritize the registration of young forward Vitor Roque. This comes after the Brazilian forward’s agent claimed that the Spanish side have already given their word that they will be able to register him onto their squad in the winter window.

The 25-year-old, who has been hailed “incredible” for his impressive performances, has scored three goals and provided three assists in eight Premier League games this season.
