Eric Dier to See Out Spurs Contract
Watch – Will Tottenham act on transfer deadline day?
No Loan Deal
According to Thomas, Dier wants to see out his contract but remains open to a loan deal for the remainder of the 2023/24 season. Tottenham however, are not interested in sending him out on loan and want to cash in on the defender and get him a permanent move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium now, rather than allowing him to depart for free next summer.
Kane Reunion?
Lyall also states that Bayern Munich hold an interest in the defender joining up with his former teammate, Harry Kane, but only on a loan deal and therefore that move is unlikely to gain any further movement in this transfer window.

Dier has not featured in either of the first three Premier League games under Ange Postecoglou, nor in the Carabao Cup tie against Fulham, which saw Spurs dumped out at the first hurdle and it seems unlikely that he will play any part under the Australian this season. Spurs Need Players to Leave: Romano
The Lilywhite’s main focus in the remaining hours of this window is getting players out of the door to reduce their wage bill, as well as those players that Postecoglou has identified as being surplus to his requirements.

Dier signed for Tottenham on August 2 2014 and scored the winning goal on his debut, away at West Ham United.
