Wilfred Ndidi Agrees Personal Terms With Forest
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Reds have made an opening offer to Leicester City for the signing of their midfielder, with “personal terms agreed” between Forest and Ndidi.

The journalist adds that Ndidi has made it clear that he “wants the move” to Forest, forcing the two clubs to start negotiations over a potential move. The Tricky Trees will now look to accelerate talks and find an agreement soon, with just a few more days remaining until the summer transfer window closes.
Steve Cooper has only added one midfielder to his squad so far in the window, with Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos joining on loan. It appears the Reds are aiming to add more experience to their midfield and have identified Ndidi as the perfect option, having seen him impress for the Foxes in the Premier League before their relegation last season.
What Can Ndidi Bring to Forest?
The 26-year-old midfielder was brought to England by Leicester back in 2017 and has been a consistent figure for them over the last six years. He has made 243 appearances for the Championship side so far in his career, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions while winning the FA Cup and Community Shield titles with them.

Ndidi is naturally a defensive midfielder who excels in winning the ball in vital areas, pressing the opposition players and protecting his backline. However, he can also play in a no.8 role and has even operated in an advanced midfield role for his side this season, scoring two goals in six appearances. The Nigerian midfielder, whom Romano described as a “Top Target” for Forest, can slot into midfield and be a valuable asset for Cooper if Forest are able to get this deal over the line before the transfer window closes.
